EDP... EDT.... EDC....

Dear Readers,

Have you ever wonder what is the difference between EDP, EDT, and EDC? They look familiar don't they? Whenever I visit the fragrance department in the shopping malls,

"Hi, very good morning miss. How may I assist you ?"

" Er... I am just looking around for some perfume..."

"What type of perfume are you looking for?"
"EDP? EDT? or EDC?"

After listening to her questions, my head is fill with questions. What is EDP, EDT and EDC? What is the differences between them? Aren't they still perfumes?

Different types of perfumes contain different concentration of perfume. The HIGHER the concentration of the perfume, LONGER it can last compare to the others, and do expect the price range will be HIGHER as well as it is the purest type of scented product.
EDP- Eau de Parfume

  •  sounds familiar? Its one of the most common in stores. Contain 7-15% of perfume concentration and provide long lasting fragrance compare to EDT and EDC.
  •  GUCCI GUILTY for women

EDT- Eau De Toilette

  • contain 1-6%of perfume concentration. The fragrance is light and does not last as long as EDP. Its normally use after shower in the morning or after sports.
  • BURBERRY BRIT

EDC- Eau de Cologne

  • also known as Eau Fraiche. The concentration of the perfume range from 2-5%. It only last approximately 2 hours with a light fragrance and it can be frequently reapplied to skin.
  • POLO BLUE
